The Percolator is an occasional publication where you can read of-the-moment takes on tech, culture, and their intersection. It specifically aims to take an outsider perspective of what's happening in culture & technology and think about cultural & behavioral change with more of a long-focus lens. (Put differently: We try not to take ourselves too seriously.)

The Percolator was launched in early 2026 by Monica S. Park, a writer and strategic insights consultant with deep experience working in tech, consumer behaviours, and cultural analysis. Fun fact: her original training was as an ancient historian and classicist. Meaning: she is equally happy talking about market segmentation and AI as she is about Greek myth and Socrates.
